Andrew White could be the next player to pop for the Cardinals

As many of you know, Louisville has scheduled two red-white intrasquad scrimmages in the upcoming weeks – one on October 14th and the other on October 22nd. Both games will give fans a glimpse of the 2011-2012 Cardinals team that was a near unanimous top-10 preseason selection by basketball analysts across the board. These events will also allow the Cards to host a slew of talented prospects from the 2012, 2013 and 2014 classes. Here’s a quick checklist of the upcoming visitors:

October 8th:Jabari Parker — Parker will be in town for the John Lucas midwest invitational camp and will take an unofficial visit to the campus on Saturday. Parker is the #1 player in the class of 2013 and hails from Chicago, Illinois.

October 8th and 9th: Andrew White — White is a 4-star, silky 6-7 small forward from Charlottesville, Virginia. He was originally scheduled to visit on the 14th, but cancelled a trip to Texas in order to move up his visit to Louisville. Things are heating up and White could be the second piece of the puzzle for 2012.

October 14th: 2012: D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera and Robert Upshaw — Smith-Rivera has been a long-time target for the Cards. He’s a 6-4 combo guard currently playing his prep ball at Oak Hill Academy. Upshaw is a long, 7-0 center from California. Head coach Rick Pitino and assistant Wyking Jones have turned up the pressure lately and have made Upshaw a priority. 2013: Malik Price Martin and Anton Gill — Price Martin is a 6-8 4-star forward from Miami Pace high school (the same school that produced Rakeem Buckles) and Anton Gill is a 6’2 4-star shooting guard from Raleigh, North Carolina. 2014: Trey Grundy, Jordan Green, Quentin Snider and D’Angelo Russell — Basically the entire Louisville Magic AAU team. All local stars in Louisville and Lexington, these 4 could be a recruiting class all unto themselves. Snider has already committed to the Cards…..will the others follow suit?

Stay tuned to Louisville Sports Live and Inside The Ville for further updates on all the listed prospects.

Are we seriously gonna waste time on Parker? He's just using us to get more of Calipayme's attention.
