This is a big one, folks. According to Steve Andress of WDRB Sports, Louisville Trinity wide receiver prospect James Quick has named Louisville as the leader for landing his services. He is ranked as the 26th overall player, 3rd best WR and a 5-star prospect on Scout.com.

Quick would be the biggest Louisville name to commit to the Cards since Brohm or Bush (either work in this instance). He is the type of elite athlete that could go to just about any school he wanted and become an All-American. He has the talent to come in as a freshman and make a huge, immediate impact, and the thought of a veteran Teddy Bridgewater tossing him the pigskin gives me goosebumps. He also holds offers from big time schools like Ohio State, Oregon (probably Louisville’s biggest threat at this point), Michigan, and Alabama. Somewhere, Kentucky is angrily planning a new billboard.
Here is a possible (hopefully) future Card in action, via YouTube.
