*It wasn’t pretty, but the Cards got the ‘W’ and improved to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the ACC.

*RB Brandon Radcliff emerged as someone ready to take the reigns as the starter, rushing for 129 yards on 17 carries with 2 TDs.  His 4th quarter 15-yard run that carried virtually the entire Wake defense brought the PJCS crowd to their feet and fired up the offensive line.

*Reggie Bonnafon – who just a week ago buried his father – went 16-32 for 206 yards through the air and 46 yards on 14 carries.  He displayed poise

*The defense held Wake Forest (2-3, 0-1) to just 100 yards of total offense, and forced three turnovers (all interceptions).  The Demon Deacons’ 10 points came off UofL turnovers.

*Gerod Holliman got another interception and now has a nation-leading 6 on the season.

*Lorenzo Mauldin was a man after being injured in the first half, he finished the game with 3 sacks.

*The OL continued to struggle, and was a major reason the Cards racked up 11 penalties for 89 yards.

*UofL was 8-18 on 3rd down.

*After mustering just 12 yards on 35 carries against FIU, Louisville was much better against Wake, piling up 215 yards on 49 carries.

*The attendance was announced at 51, 463.

*UofL plays Syracuse on Friday night at 7:00 on ESPN.
