*In a cold, wet night in Cincinnati the Cards, led by Teddy’s heroics, beat UC for the second straight year.
*Teddy went 23-37, throwing for 255 yards with 3 TDs. The epic 4th down run and the escape and TD toss to Copeland were Heisman-esqe.
*Cincy native Dominique Brown rushed for 79 yards on 19 carries with a score.
*WRs DeVante Parker and Damian Copeland combined for 12 catches and 139 yards with 3 TDs.
*The offense put up 432 total yards, while the Cards’ D held UC to 428.
*UofL was 5-12 on 3rd down; UC went 8-17.
*Louisville won the time of possession battle 32:02 to 27:58.
*Bridgewater, D. Brown, Copeland, Parker, and Pryor all have decisions to make in regards to returning for another year. Recent buzz has been trending that those players will be going to the NFL.
*Louisville’s win -their 11th – tied them with the school record for most wins in the regular season (2006).
*This is only the 7th time in school history that UofL football has had a double digit win season.
*Over the last two seasons, UofL is 22-3 including 12-3 in league play and 4-0 against major rivals UK and UC.
*Louisville’s next game will be the Russell Athletic Bowl on December 28th at 6:45 in Orlando. Potential opponents are Duke, Miami, or Virginia Tech.
