With a well rounded 2013 class in his pocket, it appears Rick Pitino is focusing all his attention on building a strong 2014 class around lone commitment Quentin Snider. Over the course of a week and a half, the staff has visited or has planned to visit three high-major 2014 targets. The prospects who have received a visit or are expecting a visit are SG Rashad Vaughn, PG Shaqquan Aaron, and SF Dwayne Morgan.

Louisville is expected to watch Vaughn play on Wednesday. Syracuse is also expected to be in the building. Vaughn is ranked #13 in the 2014 class by 247sports.com and notable schools who have offered scholarships to Vaughn include Louisville, Kentucky, Syracuse, Kansas, Tennessee, Texas, Memphis, and Baylor.
6’5 PG, Santa Ana, CA
Wyking Jones payed Aaron a visit this past Saturday. With Aaron being from California, hopefully Jones’ west coast connections will finally pay off. Shaqquan Aaron is ranked #18 in the 2014 class by 247sports.com and holds offers from Arizona, UConn, Kansas, Louisville, UCLA, and Syracuse.
6’7 SF, Baltimore, MD
Kevin Keatts checked out small forward Dwayne Morgan on Saturday. Although this is the first contact Louisville has had with Morgan, I can see him becoming a major target down the road. Morgan is ranked #14 in the 2014 class by Scout.com and holds offers from Florida, Indiana, Maryland, NC State, and Missouri.
