New Kevin Ware Highlight Mixtape

Posted on Jun 27 2011 - 7:39am by Brent Lepping

Here’s a new Kevin Ware highlight mix, courtesy of ballislife.com. No question, this kid has a huge upside. His athleticism is off the charts, and he’s a proven winner. For him, it’s all going to be about buying into the system and putting in the work to improve his ball handling and decision making. Regardless, this was a nice get so late in the game.

I don't wanna be a downer but all the stuff he's good at is the stuff CRP does'nt use. We'll see his potential come to fruition senior year. Unless he transfers to a small school in Texas.

It might take a while for him to develop….but saying that CRP doesn't use what Ware is good at? Use ur head "Cool Card" that's that lump 3 feet above your a$$! Ware is a slashing athlete that plays above the rim, kinda like T-Will…but I wouldn't expect a UK troll to understand that.

T-Will was basically a Point Forward by his senior year…he handled the ball alot and lead the team assists in the 2008-2009 season. If u knew anything about Kevin Ware you would see that he's had some problems handling the ball under pressure, bc he's not a "true" point guard. But Coach P will mold him the same way he did T-will, they have about the same skill set as incoming freshman. BTW…I hate UK and all the backwoods fan with a passion….and u my friend smell like a UK troll to me

Red n Black…it's okay, tell me how you really feel. You don't fool me one bit. I can tell your loyalty is with sUcK!

So now Kevin Ware is a point forward?

Red n Black must be Matt Jones or Drew Franklin the way he goes back and forth with the true Cardinal Nation. Go back to Cayuts Illustrated or the cave you came from. Only true Card fans here.

One planting technique is to lay all the seeds out on top of the prepared bed using the desired spacing pattern and the go back and use a finger to press the seeds to the proper depth.

RednBlack never said Ware was a point forward, and he is correct in comparing his skill set to TWill. Pap, you have posted relevant points before, but don't bait a Cards fan.

Kevin Ware being compared to TWilliams is not a good comparison. I wear the red glasses like everyone else, but to say the same skill set shows you do not have much background in evaluating talent. Nothing personal, but I told you on ITV I would give you guys props and negatives when I see fit.

While TWill is more physical, he too was pretty thin when he first arrived on campus. TWill could guard 1s, 2s, and 3s, but had trouble guarding 4s and couldn't guard 5s. Ware is comparable to him when it comes to how they score: by slashing, finishing above the rim, playijng multiple positons and having a suspect jumper. Is he a mirror image of TWill? Absolutely not. But they do have some similar qualities.

Thin!?!? Regardless of his weight his physical strength (even as a freshman) is far superior than K. Ware's. It's almost as if your hoping for him to be like T-Will so much that your convincing yourself that he is based off of one attribute.

Back to my original point…yes they both play above the rim…THAT'S IT! Their skill set is not comparable. There's more to a skill set than just being able to slash to the goal. The measurables you and the Cayut fan are using is standard by the common soccer dad fan. You pick a quality/s about a player and ride it as if its god and country. In four years you will not be using their game in the same sentence. That much I'm confident about.

I simply said they have SOME similar qualities. They BOTH are slashers, very athletic, and have suspect jumpers. Those alone are 3 different factors.
