Charlie Strong is a beast. That is all.
*We will have a big announcement concerning the future of LSL on Tuesday morning, stay tuned to the site for this exciting news! Now on to the links….
*UofL’s corners will be tested by Murray State early
Thursday night in the season opener against Murray State, they’ll get a quick answer to their concerns. Maybe on the first series, quite possibly on the first play, but definitely during the course of the game Racers quarterback Casey Brockman and a pass-happy attack will give the Cardinals’ cornerbacks a good indication of where they stand.
*Speaking of corners, is there a surprise transfer in the Cards now?
*Could Louisville actually benefit from this Miami scandal?
Louisville will benefit the most to be honest because Florida and Florida State do OK on their own. It will help the Gators and ‘Noles, don’t get me wrong, but Charlie Strong hits South Florida hard and has beaten Miami head-to-head for recruits even before this. Now he should be able to get even more kids to head north and make his Big East program that much stronger.

*Does this mean Pitt has been talking to the Big 12-2?
“Rampant speculation on conference expansion occurs, and changes, on a daily basis,” senior associate athletic director E.J. Borghetti said in an e-mail to the Tribune-Review. “It would not be productive or responsible to add to that speculation by commenting.”
Big 12 officials expect Texas A&M to announce within the week that it plans to leave the conference. Texas A&M officials have expressed interest in joining the Southeastern Conference.
*A great summary to satisfy your conference expansion concerns
If you’re the president at Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State or Vanderbilt, do you vote to include a school with better football tradition than your own institution if you get absolutely nothing back to show for it?
Kentucky Football in the SEC….insert joke here.
