The University of Louisville football schedule is set for the next two seasons. The Cards will open the 2015 season against Auburn in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic, and will also play at home against Samford and Houston. Rounding the non-conference schedule will be a road trip to rival Kentucky. In 2016, Louisville will play on the road at Houston and Marshall. Home games against UNC-Charlotte and Kentucky round out the 2016 non-conference slate. Two things to note here: The Marshall game was moved to 2016 to accommodate U of L’s move to the ACC and UNC Charlotte, which spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons as an FCS member, is moving to Conference USA next season.
Louisville’s ACC games were also announced. The Cards’ 2015 slate includes home games against Boston College, Clemson, Syracuse, and Virginia and road trips to Florida State, NC State, Pittsburgh, and Wake Forest. In 2016, the Cards will host Florida State, Duke, Wake Forest, and NC State at home with road trips to Boston College, Clemson, Syracuse, and Virginia.
