Though the NFL draft doesn’t start until May 8th of this year, that hasn’t stopped the various sports websites and publications from pumping out mock drafts at a high clip. It’s no secret that former Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater is a coveted prospect and will likely be selected somewhere in the top-10. But his teammate and fellow early entrant, Calvin Pryor, is also starting to gain some serious momentum and garner the respect he deserves. In USA Today’s latest set of draft predictions, they peg Bridgewater as the 4th overall selection going to Cleveland (Please God, no) and Pryor as the 22nd overall pick going to Philadelphia (much better). You can check out the entire mock draft by clicking here.

4. Cleveland Browns — Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville: He’s more polished and probably more NFL-ready than Manziel, so don’t be surprised at all if Bridgewater heads to Houston. But there’s little doubt the Browns will be starting fresh under center, and a Bridgewater-Josh Gordon pairing could be a pretty productive tandem for the next decade.

22. Philadelphia Eagles — Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville: Kelly would probably like some new toys on offense, especially with WRs Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper about to hit the market. But the league’s leakiest pass defense needs to be patched first.

Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin resigned with the Eagles. Plus, they got a free safety in Malcolm Jenkins in free agency. Wonder where they will draft now? Maybe more secondary guys, though they whiffed on Nate Allen big time.
